Abstract |
|
Aquaplaning or hydroplaning by the tires of a road vehicle occurs when a layer of water generates between the tires of the vehicle and the road, foremost to a damage of traction that avoids the vehicle from returning to control. If it happens to all wheels concurrently, the vehicle becomes, in consequence, an uncontrolled sled. The grooves of a tire are designed to separate water from underneath the tire, as long as high friction even in wet conditions. Aquaplaning or hydroplaning occurs when a tire come across more water than it can disperse. In this work we are going to do a CFD simulation of tire on a wet road conditions by using some technical parameter. |
