Abstract |

In today’s era where almost each and every device generates data, the size of data is very large and we call it big data. Big data cannot be processed using normal SQL queries or Relational DBMS[1] because of its huge size. We need a special system which can perform processing on such huge data, fast and faultlessly. One such system is Hadoop and this paper primarily focuses on Hadoop, its components and features and its uses in real world application. Two use cases are described in this paper. |
