IoT (Internet of Things)[1] is an advanced automation and analytics system which exploits networking, sensing, big data, and artificial intelligence technology to deliver complete systems for a product or service. These systems allow greater transparency, control, and performance when applied to any industry or system. Today internet of things is a new revolution of the internet. A world where the real, digital and the virtual are converging to create smart environments that make energy, transport, cities and many other areas more intelligent. Different types of application like water monitoring, water pollution, air pollution, forest fire detection, smart homes, smart cities where each things can connect from anywhere to anyplace to make our life easier. This paper provide a broad overview on what is IOTS, different applications of IoTS, role of IoT of Smart city and challenges. |
