Abstract |
|
Waste management is already hitting the markets but there are a few bottlenecks which are being sorted in our prototype. The first method was developed using IR and weight sensors. They have used weight sensor for detecting the weight of garbage in the dustbin, however weight sensor doesn’t give any information about the distance in the dustbin. So, in this project we have added an IR sensor to detect the height of the waste and GPS to track the location. The Methane sensor is used for the safety of the people who are clearing the garbage from the bins safely. The usage of Wi-Fi in the existing system will send an acknowledgement without any necessary information. But in this prototype the proposing system not only determines the location but also the Bin Number, Bin ID, the weight and also the indication of filled bins. |
