Abstract |
|
Disposal of waste material is the major problem in the world. Accumulation of the used waste tyre is the source of anxiety because rubber is a non-biodegradable material. Rubber creates harmful environmental effects by burning, land filling, disposal etc. The main objective of this experimentation is to study the workability, compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete produced with the addition of waste tyre rubber shreddings. The waste tyre rubber shreddings percentage is varied from 0% to 3% with an increment of 0.5%. The work is carried out on M30 grade of concrete. |
