Abstract

A spring is an element which is flexible in nature, when we use to exert a force into it, it can store the energy and then pull back. The spring which is considered in the paper, is the part of compression spring which is helical in nature. It is used to reduce the force which we exert while doing a work either pull or push, and help in to perform smoothly. In this paper we use to check the deformation, stress, and strain in the spring while applying different load condition. We use the CATIA software to design the helical compression spring and it can also be observed the analytical results using that of Ansys software.
