Abstract |

In human life medicines play a vital role. But, just like human beings, medicines too have a valid lifetime in which they should be used for their effectiveness. Neglecting and forgetting timely medicinal intake may sometimes turn out to be fatal. Along with this, many medicines expire without the patient being aware of it. The proposed android mobile application provides the client a platform to record timely medicinal intake validation. It provides the overall information about the medicine like its manufacturing, expiry date, product number, generic medicine contents, etc. by scanning the QR code. With the use of QR code the proposed application will store all the information and by using the QR code scanner supported with the proposed mobile application will provide a usable User Interface to its users. The application will provide a notification based system for intake validation and expiry notification of the products. The android application can not only be used with regard to medicines but also other daily products to maintain their information and expiry. |
