The project named 'PIC based Distributed Electricity Monitoring and Control Using Wi-Fi' proposes an innovative idea for monitoring and controlling of distributed electricity. The proposal in this paper monitors the power consumed by a model organization such as household consumers from a located point. Monitoring the power means calculating the power consumed exactly by the user at a given time. The objective of the project is to monitor and control the distributed electricity supplies and generate the instant bills of consumed electricity. And also controlling the supply by sending the commands through message. This paper also presents the system designed to send the SMS alert to consumer through mobile. The purpose of this paper is to acquire the remote electrical parameters like Current and send these values over Wi-Fi. |
