Abstract |

The main objective of the paper is investigating the claim of mechanical optical comparator by developing the demonstrative model of comparator. The device is being developed in the form of advancement by implementing the laser light instead of normal light source. We have constructed this using a pivoted lever mechanism, a front reflecting mirror, laser light source, base made of wood, etc. The instrument is satisfying the requirements of measuring standards and can be modified in future in its construction for improving its accuracy. |
