Technology can be seen almost every aspect of our lives. The graph of use of technology is increasing day by day. We all depend on technology to complete specific tasks of our life. There is technology in business, in education, in socializing and maintaining human relations, in purchasing, in agriculture, in banking, communication, and almost every part of our lives. The Indian Police Department which is crucial part of our society is lacking behind in use of technology. The Indian Police Department is most interactive, accessible and dynamic organization of our society. They carry out their routine chores manually. The proceedings of complaint are carried out by traditional “pen and paper� method. The traditional “pen and paper� method was comfortable when population was far less. At that time crime rates was also low. But now with urbanization and rapid development of big cities and towns, crime rates have also increase. With the increase in crime rates it has become tough to handle complaints and documents manually. Digitalization in Police department is very important. This "pen and paper" method needs to be replaced with system of registering complaint online. This online registering system would allow police officials to register complaint online through android application. The complaint details are forwarded to Police department web portal. In this way the entire process of registering complaints is online. By using this system speed of processing complaints would increase and also save time and energy of Police officer.
