Abstract |

In this Real – World today “Indoor Positioning†is a hot research topic with plenty of technologies and algorithms being used and under experimentation. GPS Service is the superior choice when it comes to positioning. But due to certain circumstances GPS restricts accuracy for indoor environment. To provide accuracy in indoor positioning, Wi-Fi and BLE can be used, as Wi-Fi and BLE is highly used in public as well as private buildings where the GPS lacks its signal. Fingerprinting is the process of position determination, using the received signal strength at one point[27]. The Results of various researches till date shows that the multimodal approach provides better accuracy than monomodal approaches [21]. |
