Abstract |

Renewable energy can become a viable option for rural electrification as well as for micro grid application. Renewable sources are cleaner sources of energy. Solar energy is one of the convenient form of renewable energy for small scale applications. Micro grid serves a cost saving alternatives for remote places. Solar panel generates DC power. DC micro grid powered by solar energy is an option for distributed generation in Bharat. Design and development of DC micro grid based on solar photovoltaic system is discussed in this paper. For optimum design of DC micro grid based on solar energy region specified solar irradiance need to be accounted. Accounting of storage and distribution system is analyzed in this paper with consideration of 7-hr of operational requirements. |
