Abstract |

Molasses is a byproduct after the sugar is obtained from the sugarcane industry. The molasses is used in the distillery industry for the production of alcohol along with the alcohol large amount of waste water is generated which is known as spent wash. The waste water generated is about 15% more than alcohol production. Then after various process the waste water is used in the production of Biogas. After upgrading and purification of biogas, it can be used in vehicles. We can reduce the water and air pollution. |
