Abstract

Public Transport Vehicles in India have large ground clearance which creates difficulty for boarding a person with wheelchair. The main notion of this paper is to give brief explanation about the pneumatic ramp developed for boarding a disabled person especially with the wheel chair. The modeling of non-standard parts is done using CATIA V5R20 and its analysis is done in ANSYS 18.2 student version. The selection of standard parts is done as possible to ensure ease in mass production in further application.
