Abstract

In growing technology, the robots play a vital role in automating the processes carried out in industries. So these robots have widened their functionality and applications with growing technologies. The wireless compatibility makes them fit for various industrial functions. It aims at monitoring the industrial floor with various sensors that are spread over the entire region. Here each and every sensor will be allotted with a specific identification number. If any hazard occurs, the corresponding information will be sent to the robot through RF transmission. Based on the sensor code, the robot can identify the spot of accident. As the robot is pre-programmed in PIC microcontroller with all the pathways, the robot immediately starts to the location. Once it reaches the location, then it will start splashing the water, quench the fire completely and again return to the starting location. If any obstacles are detected then the buzzer alarms. It can be applied to various fields of monitoring. It can be used to protect the large sized storage units where the human presence is very less. The robot can be used to fix the leakage or fault in the unmanned service positions.
