Abstract |
|
The Brushless DC motors (BLDC) is highly reliable and it does not have any brushes to wear out and replace. BLDC motors offer high efficiency and controllability and better heat dissipation, they have a long operating life is over 10,000 hours. In industry usually control of speed by using Proportional Integral (PI) controller due to simple control structure and easy implementation. This controller has some control complexity such as nonlinearity, load disturbances and parametric variations. In this paper, the analysis and mathematical modeling of BLDC motor is accomplished. Also, by using matlab/simulink the speed control of the three phase motor using Trapezoidal Back EMF method is projected. The improved performance of the Brushless DC Motor is displayed on the simulation result. |
