Abstract |
|
The project is implemented to heat the coil by varying frequency using cycloconverter. Induction coil is very robust and therefore it is used in many domestic applications and also used in industries. The AC supply frequency cannot be changed so this project uses a MOSFET to heat the induction coil and to control the speed of induction heating by using the PWM method. The microcontroller used for this project is from 8051 family (89S52). Among all the different method PWM method is simple, reliable and economical PWM also minimize the lower order harmonics. This concept can be further enhanced and implemented to heat the three phase induction coil. |
