Abstract

High power microwave will be used in extensively in fusion research machine like Tokamak for variety of purpose such as heating, control and diagnostic. But under certain plasma conditions all power is not fully absorbed & it leads to damage of microwave and millimeter wave component. The proposed work is on designing the detector based on the theory of bolometer which can be operated in high magnetic field and high radiation environment and can sense high power density at point of interest.
