Availability of land is difficult in future due to horizontal growth of our country. The rising growth occupy the land surface. It is better solution for the construction on water surface. The floating concrete structure model of dimensions 0.630*0.600*0.300m was to be design for 90kg load for the study of floating behavior. In this study, M25 concrete mix design was to be used for the casting of structure. The structure is casted in such away that the density of structure is less than the density of water Load behavior due to water on the submerged body design for this type of loading was to be done. Also carried out study of floating stability by determining metacentric height, buoyancy force and centre of buoyancy. Stability analysis of the structure is also carried out for the safely sustaining the load. |
