As we already know that we are living in wireless world. Now a days in our everyday life we are using embedded systems. To work with the embedded systems we have to provide power supply to work & that power is provided with the help of wires but this is very complex, bulky & of-course costly too. In order to reducing this we are going with wireless power transmission over wired power of transmission. This paper mainly focused on: 1) Tesla theory (Most Popular Concept) 2) Electromagnetic Induction. 3) Resonant charging of electrical & electronics Devices. Although many research papers, patents are available on wireless transmission of electricity but the commercial technologies are yet to be implemented. Wireless transmission can give an efficiency of about 95% whereas 26% to 30% power loss in wired transmission of power. One more thing wireless power transmission is non radiative energy so this eco-friendly (i.e does not affect the environment). This technique includes resoanating inductive coupling, mutual induction, electromagnetic induction/radiation, microwave transmission, laser transmission. By this technology we can avoid the short circuit, danger of having long & tangled wiring. |
