Abstract |
|
Plain concrete is having low strength and cannot withstand heavy load. The fibre reinforced concrete has a potential to improve the structural characteristics of rigid pavement allowing reduction of the thickness, which depends on fibre characteristics and dosage. In this project, experimental investigation of mechanical properties by in co-operating fibres in the mix at suitable proportion is carried out. Comparative analysis between conventional concrete and concrete containing fibre is carried out in relation to compressive and flexural strength. |
