Abstract

Aluminium Alloys have been used in various applications owing to its high mechanical properties such as Hardness, Tensile Strength, Impact Strength and etc. These mechanical properties are directly and indirectly affects by various parameter. Load given during the friction stir welding process can also be affecting the mechanical properties of the welded joints. In this study, the Hardness and Joint Efficiency of dissimilar Aluminum alloys namely AA6061 and AA6063 are studied with reference to the Load applied during the process.
