Abstract |
|
The proposed paper analyses the performance of Vector Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (VOFDM) technique over Power Line Communication (PLC) system with two non-linear pre-processors known as nulling and clipping along with Zero-Forcing and MMSE equalizers. Naturally, VOFDM has good PAPR property with reduced cost, size, increases electromagnetic compatibility and it does not have any side information whereas the equalizer reduces the occurrence of Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). When compared to the existing system, the proposed system reduces PAPR up to 1 dB and also eliminates the occurrence of noise in PLC channels thereby consuming the transmit power. |
