Abstract |

Just in Time (JIT) has attracted the attention of many industries all over the world. Just in Time is the technique of eliminating waste whether manufacturing Sector or Service Sector. JIT is termed as one of the most important theory in industry for cost saving and quality improvement. JIT focuses on the processes and not on the final product. Therefore, it can be successfully applied to every process within the domains of manufacturing and service sector. Although JIT gain so much attention and success still its implementation in India in not satisfactory. Real Challenge in front of Indian Mangers is to establish priorities among JIT Techniques to take best advantages. This paper evolves a review on the concept and benefits of JIT and also study why implementation of JIT is not successful in India. |
