The thermal performance of an automotive radiator plays an important role in the performance of an automobile's cooling system. In recent decades, due to lower cost and lesser weight despite significant drop in performance the conventional Copper radiators are being replaced by Aluminium radiators. Before fabricating it is necessary to predict the performance and other working characteristics of radiator. In this project the design is done on Solidworks 2017 software and analysis is done in Ansys Workbench 15.0 on Aluminium radiator and its effectiveness is evaluated. |
