Abstract |
|
Wireless sensor networks have been recognized as being valuable in a range of fields to include mainly military sensing and tracking, environment monitoring, patient monitoring and tracking smart environment. Sensor network possesses unique challenges to protocol builders, because these tiny wireless devices are often deployed in unattended environment with limited potentials. Therefore these networks are susceptible to different types of malicious attacks. In this paper, we will discuss on sinkhole attacks, analysis and its countermeasures. In this attack, the adversary's goal is to attract nearly all the traffic from a particular area through a compromised node. |
