Abstract

Speed control of three phase induction motor is important for industry. For speed control of induction motor mainly three control methods are employed namely Scalar control, Field oriented control (FOC) and Direct Torque control (DTC). Scalar control method is generally not used in application, where accurate torque response will be required. In this paper compare the FOC and DTC Control techniques of advanced control methods of three phase Induction motor have done using the Simulation results analysis.
