Abstract

The paper deals with the stress analysis of connecting rod by Finite Element Method using CREO PARAMETRIC 2.0 and ANSYS Workbench software. The objective of present work is to optimize the material of connecting rod. The design optimization of connecting rod is carried out with a view to reduce deformation, better heat transfer and effect on weight.
