Data mining is used in a wide range of real world applications. New methods and models a have been developed to solve the data mining problems. Utility mining is an important data mining task. It is an extension of Market Basket Analysis. There are several algorithm have been developed to solve the problem of high utility item set mining. But there is still a lot of scope of work in terms of efficiency. This paper presents a review of various modern methods to mine high utility items from voluminous data sets. |
