Abstract |
synthesis of 2,4,5 tri-subtituted imidazole derivatives have been achieved via one pot reaction of various aromatic aldehyde, benzil and ammonium acetate promoted by magnesium chloride in acetic acid as solvent. Reaction carried out at 900C for 60 to 90 minutes with different derivatives of aldehyde. |
