This paper examinations the technology used in Speech-to-Speech Translation that is the phrases spoken in one language are immediately spoken in another language by the device. Speech-to-Speech Translation is a three step software process which includes Automatic speech acknowledgement, Machine Translation and voice synthesis. This paper includes the major speech translation projects using different approaches for speech recognition, translation and text to speech synthesis importance the major pros and cons for the approach being used. |
