This project report summarizes the strength behaviour of partial replacement of cement by silica fume in concrete and partial replacement of fine aggregate by granite powder in concrete. Granite is an igneous rock which is widely used as construction materials in different forms. Granite industries produce lot of dust and waste material. The silica fume is partially replaced with cement in the ratio of (10%, 15%, 20%). And also the granite powder is partially replaced with fine aggregate in the ratio of (20%, 25% 30%) and various tests such as compressive strength, spilt tensile strength and flexural strength are investigated and these values compared with the conventional concrete. The cube, cylinder, prism will be cast, cured and tested for 7 days, 14 days and 28 days respectively. The Analysis of all the result compared mathematically and graphically. |
