Abstract

In current scenario electricity is the basic need of human life. From last few decades there is increase population of India so there is lot of consumption of electrical energy that’s why fossil fuel will get exhausted in future. We need to find out alternative method for generation of electricity .the objective of this project is to design a setup that leads to generating electricity which is wasted when the vehicles passes over a speed breaker. This generated energy is economical and pollution free. The experimental setup is design which contains springs, bearings, flywheel, shaft, guide ways, pan, chain and sprocket, dynamo, bulb. The working principle is based on law of energy i.e. kinetic energy of moving vehicle can be converted into mechanical energy and this mechanical energy is converted into electrical energy. When force is applied on pan spring get compressed therefore this rotate the chain drive arrangement that’s rotation of chain drive will rotates shaft which is coupled with dynamo. Therefore by using this arrangement sufficient energy can be generated to meet various daily requirements. The energy which is generated in this setup is use in lighting the bulb.
