Abstract

The effect of glass fibre on wet transverse strength, water absorption and compressive strength was studied for different fibre content on M-20 grade concrete designed as per IS10262. The maximum size of aggregates used was 20mm. The size of glass fibres used was 30mm were alkali resistant. To study the effect on wet transverse, compressive strength and water absorption required number of interlocking tiles were casted and tested. The thickness of the tiles was 60mm.The water cement ratio was kept consistent. The mix proportion used was 1:2.26:3.54.
