Abstract |

Cryogenics is the branch of science of developing and analyzing low-temperature environments. The word cryogenics originate from the Greek word kryos, means “cold“; mixed with a short form of the English verb “to generate, “it has come to mean the production of temperatures well below those of normal human comfort. More correctly, a low-temperature atmosphere is named a cryogenic atmosphere when the temperature range is below the point at which permanent gases begin to liquefy. Among others, they comprise oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), hydrogen (H), and helium (He). The source of cryogenics as a systematic correction coincided with the innovation by nineteenth century scientists, that the permanent gases can be liquefied at exceedingly low temperatures. Consequently, the term cryogenic realated to temperatures from approximately–148°F (–100°C) down to. (Absolute zero is defined as the lowest temperature possible, a state where no heat energy exists.). |
