Abstract |
|
The Schiff base ligand (4-nitrobenzylidiene)-3-nitroaniline was prepared by the condensation between 4-nitrobenzaldehyde and 3-nitroaniline. The V and Zr complexes of the corresponding ligand were prepared and was characterized by different methods like CHN analysis, IR and UV spectra. From CHN analysis and IR spectral data the structures of V complex and Zr complex are found to be octahedral structure. The complexes were analysed for its antimicrobial characteristics. |
