Abstract |

The Eye Monitored wheelchair is a mobility-aided device for persons suffering from physical disabilities or chronic diseases such as Quadriplegia. In this project, we use an eye tracking system to control wheel chair. Users eyeball movements are transmitted to screen position using the optical eye tracking system. When a person looks at proper angle, then computer input system will transmit command to the software based on the angle of rotation of pupil. Also, obstacle detection sensors are connected to the PIC microcontroller to provide necessary feedback for proper operation of the wheelchair and to ensure the users safety. |
