Abstract |

Melanoma is a type of skin cancer which develops on the outer layer of skin surface. It is the most hazardous form of skin cancer, because it is much more likely to extend to other parts of the body if not detected and treated at a premature stage. Properties like dryness, fungus, allergy on the skin are the main symptoms of the skin cancer. These symptoms occur mainly due to over exposure of the skin to the UV radiation. There are many clinical diagnosis techniques available for the detection of cancer. As per the literature and research, the lesion distinctive such as shape, color, geometry etc. are the key parameters for recognition of skin cancer. This paper gives the summary of comparison between different skin cancer detection techniques. |
