Abstract |

This paper studies the facial expression recognition using YOLO algorithm. The model is trained on CK+ facial expression dataset. It is trained to recognize 3 facial expressions, happiness, surprise, and neutral expression. The model recognizes these expressions with an accuracy of 50 %. This low accuracy is due to the small size of the dataset. This paper serves as proof of concept of real time fast facial expression detection. |
