2D Steady State Heat Transfer of Plate by using Finite Element Analysis

Abstract

This paper presents an efficient finite element method to determine the temperature distribution in thin steel plates with convective heat transfer boundary conditions. There is 2D steady state heat transfer problem in which convection conduction and insulation are provided and finding the nodal temperature by using manual calculation; after manual calculation, this problem solve in ANSYS workbench and compare both result.
