Abstract |

The conventional refrigeration system uses heavier components and higher electricity to produce the cooling effect. The introduction of Peltier modules can simply overcome the above mentioned issues. Peltier effect can be used for both the cooling effect production and the electricity production. This paper says about a thermo-electrical refrigerator works by the current produced by the Peltier effect using the heat from engine exhaust. The electricity is produced by fitting a Peltier module attached with heat sinks at both cooling and heating sides on the engine exhaust manifold. The current thus produced is stored in a battery and then applied to a Peltier module. |
