Inventory management is concerned with the efficient management of stock to achieve an optimum level of inventory in the firm‘s working capital. Inventory is divided into three major types: raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods. The aim of this work is to examine the effect a well-managed inventory has in a manufacturing company Muscan Aircon Enterprises, Bhopal. To enhance the performance of inventory management in an organization. This study we focus on optimizing inventory management in the improvement of supply chain management. Reducing inventory is considered one of the most important aspects of inventory management. But in practice, low inventory level is not always a good solution. Manufacturers need to maintain the right amount of inventory at the right level. |
