In this paper different type of benefits, process and main function of Building Information Modeling is discussed. This is basically consisting of estimation, costing, time required, design & planning. It also consisting of LOD; LOD means "Level of Development". In which combination of Level of Geometry and Level of Dimensions takes place which facilitate easy work flow. Different models are provided in BIM likely 3D, 4D, 5D, and so on. By providing models BIM can produce much better results to work with ease on site. |
