Abstract |

Face recognition deals with identifying the person from digitally captured image from previous knowledge. Face recognition has applications in security, image database investigations, access control and surveillance. Various features or patterns can be extracted from the images stored in database and can be used for training the machine learning model in order to classify the captured probe image. There are various techniques for extracting features and classifying the probe image. This survey provides various feature extraction and classification techniques that can be implemented. |
