Abstract

The objectives of this work is to fabricate hybrid composites with the base metal as Aluminum 2024 alloy reinforced with 4 Wt % of Nano sized boron carbide particulates and fly ash by stir casting method. The mechanical properties like tensile strength, yield strength, material toughness and hardness will be analyzed and these results will compare with the conventional materials and existing composite material.
