Due to rapid increase in the traffic volumes and pedestrian volumes, traffic-pedestrian conflicts have increased manifolds in last few decades. For enhancing the pedestrian safety and for providing necessary infrastructure, a clear understanding of pedestrian crossing behaviour under mixed traffic conditions is needed. |
