Abstract |

The mobile ad hoc network is decentralized type of network in which mobile nodes can join or leave the network when they want. Due to such type of property malicious nodes enter the network which triggers various type of security attacks. The wormhole attack is the active type of attack in which delay is increased in the network. In this research work, the approach of threshold is proposed for the isolation of malicious nodes in the network. The proposed technique detect malicious node based on the delay in the network. The proposed technique is implemented in network simulator version 2 and results are analyzed in terms of certain parameters. |
