Plastic is widely used in our daily life and it is present all around us in our house, office and environment in the form of different products. There are various types of plastic depending on their size in the debris. It is a non-biodegradable product and the improper disposal of such plastic products in the environment will definitely have a huge impact on the environment and it will also affect the life of living organisms on the earth. With the increase in population, the amount of garbage disposal is also increasing daily. Plastics should be use by understanding the importance of life on the earth. This article deals with the environmental impacts of plastics and the control measures to reduce plastic pollution. One of the most important two-dimensional layered compounds is layered double hydroxides (LDHs). This has enabled massive developments in effective pollution treatments. Multidisciplinary attention has owned to the essential advantages of their moderate chemiostability, low cost and nontoxicity significant advances have been made in the synthesis of novel LDH- based composites and the optimization of characteristics techniques over past few decades. |
