In recent years, aging of population and empty nest problem are becoming more and more severe. In addition, fall is the leading cause of death for seniors. Fall detection using machine learning algorithm is more accurate and faster than another methods. The performance of the fall detection varies based on the input video and the algorithm used to classify the frames. Major algorithms in machine learning that used in fall detection was support vector machine, decision tree, k-means clustering and CNN. |
