Now-a-days when you visit to the hospital, you will find that every third person is a victim of road accident. Due to road accident, whole family suffers the consequences along with victim. Despite of imposing various rules and penalties on drunken driving, overspeeding and rash driving, these problems persists. This problem is getting worse year by year. This paper presents accidental analysis of India in last ten years from 2009 to 2018. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the road accident statistics of India which shows the distribution of injuries and fatalities in states as well as union territories. This paper also presents year wise analysis of accidents, number of persons killed, number of injuries and effects of different characteristics like age, month, etc., and state wise number of accidents in 2018 and major causes behind these accidents. This paper is a small effort to analyze the root cause of accidents so that the remedial measures can be proposed to avoid accidents. |
